Ashley is a native of Augusta, AR where she lived until she moved away for college. She graduated high school with academic honor as Valedictorian of her class.  She attended the University of Arkansas-Little Rock and later Arkansas State University-Beebe where she obtained an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Psychology. During this time, she also gave birth to a young king, Greylon. She continued her studies at the University of Phoenix where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology.

Ashley is a minister and teacher at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bald Knob, AR under the leadership of Bishop Larry and Lady Patricia Johnson. She began ministering at the age of 22. While in high school, she knew that she would be used by God. Not seeking a name of her own, she was open to being available for God's use. Ashley likes to serve no matter how high or low the service requested may be. Although she shuns the spotlight, God has a way of opening doors for those that remain faithful. She began training in ministry as an armor bearer and as an intercessor.

As a young single mother, Ashley has a heart for young mothers who have ever felt the shame and guilt of carrying a child out of wedlock. Knowing that God gives grace despite the situations that we put ourselves in, her purpose is to encourage, uplift, and promote purity of heart. Her goal is to share with young mothers to trust God with the details in the process, allow Him to mold you into wholeness, and to use their testimonies to reach others. All things truly work together for the good to them that love God and are the called according to his purpose. She has started an online support page for single moms to be encouraged and empowered to live beyond their current circumstances.

In the fall of 2018, Ashley released her first book, Beautiful Ashley: Beauty Birthed from Ashes, where she shares parts of her testimony with scriptural references to encourage other to not give up when it seems that all you have left are the emptiness and ugliness of ash. God truly gives beauty for ashes. In the summer of 2019, she's releasing her first book for youth, Kingdom Kids: Building Godly Characteristics through Faith Confessions and Devotions and at the end of 2019, she published her first devotional for single moms called "Give Me a Moment" Devotions for Single Moms Juggling Motherhood, Work, and Life.

In January 2020, Ashley became a Board Certified Christian Counselor with the desire to help bridge the gap of mental health in the body of Christ. They can coexist together. She believes there is nothing abnormal about prioritizing your mental health.

Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant. Galatians 1:10 NLT
