Seasons change. As you enter different stores you will notice that even before major holidays come, the store already has decoration and supplies out way before the holiday actually comes. I walked in a store last week and I saw Christmas decorations already out. I said to myself, "Wow, already!" But it dawned on me preparation often goes before the presentation of something BIG. If stores can prepare for major holidays in advance, how much more should we be in preparation for things to come in our lives?
You've prayed for it but have prepared to receive what you have prayed for. If God answers your prayer for the things you have asked of Him, will you have the capacity to keep it? Will you have prepared yourself for it?
When the opportunities you are awaiting finally present itself it is too late to start getting ready at the moment. While you are waiting for the door to open, prepare. While you are praying, prepare for what you are expecting.
I'm learning that even in quiet season to write and prepare. I'm not on big platforms(YET). I don't have a huge following (YET). But it will be too late for me to prepare for that place when I'm already there. So I've chosen to write now so that the doors that I do walk through by the grace of God, I am able to leave resources to help others. It's better to have prepared than to get to that place and not be prepared.
God will open the doors. The question is will you be ready to soar when He is ready for take off. Don't forsake the launching pad of your future. It has purpose. It's preparing you for take off.
What are you waiting for? Remove the excuses and do something today that points you in the direction of preparing for what you have prayed for and watch God work. Faith without works is dead. Let me know how you are preparing for what you are expecting.
